Only notes you say yes to are emailed to Dan and Ryan.
When you talk to Koko
- What you say passes through ElevenLabs, the voice service, so Koko can hear you and answer. It keeps a text copy of your talk so Dan and Ryan can make Koko better. It keeps no recording of your voice. We never sell what you say.
- ElevenLabs also has an AI model (Gemini, by Google) write a short summary of each talk.
- An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) reads what you say, so Koko can answer. ElevenLabs passes it on.
- Koko’s note (your name, your business, what you need, your phone and the best time to call) goes by email to Dan and Ryan through Resend, so one of them can call you.
- Our servers keep no copy of your talk or your note. The note stays in Dan’s and Ryan’s email. Resend, which sends it, keeps a copy for a short time under its own rules. Ask us and we delete yours.
- Your own browser keeps a short note of your talks with Koko for 30 days, so she remembers you if you call again. It stays on your device and goes to Koko, through the voice service, at the start of your next talk. Ask her to forget, or tap Forget my talks.
- ElevenLabs, Anthropic, Google, Resend and Vercel, which runs this site, are outside Canada. So your talk and your note leave Canada.
- One small cookie counts your talks with Koko each day. Your internet address counts them too, for a day, so no one can use up Koko’s talks. We never save it. Vercel, which runs this site, may keep it in its logs for a short time. No ads, no tracking.
